Our mission
Humanity's knowledge, given, not taken.
Big AI Brain is an AI the world raises on purpose. Nobody's words are scraped. Nobody's work is taken. People choose what to teach it, get credit for it, and have a say in what it becomes.
Why we're doing this the hard way
Most of today's AI was built by collecting enormous piles of writing from across the internet and training on it, usually without asking the people who wrote it. It works, but it leaves a bad taste. The writers, teachers, tradespeople and artists whose knowledge made those systems smart were never asked, never credited, and never got a say.
We think there's another way, and we think it's more fun. Start with a brain that knows nothing. Let anyone teach it. Check every lesson with a human. Credit the teacher. Grow it in public, one meal at a time, so everyone can watch it go from babbling to brilliant. The result is a knowledge base built entirely from consent, with a record of exactly who gave what.
What we believe
- Every human is a genius in their own vertical. The plumber knows things no professor does. The nurse, the beekeeper, the welder, the grandmother who's cooked 20,000 dinners, the kid who knows every dinosaur. Those gifts are unique to each of us, and together they add up to something no single company could ever build.
- Given beats taken. Knowledge handed over freely, with credit, is worth more than knowledge grabbed in the dark. It's cleaner, it's more trustworthy, and it comes with people who care about where it goes.
- The world that raises it should steer it. Feeders can see what the brain learned, correct it, rate it, and ask for their own contributions to be removed. As it grows, the people who grew it get a voice in what it's used for.
- Use it for good. By many estimates, tens of thousands of people die of hunger-related causes every single day, on a planet that grows enough food for everyone. We don't think a cartoon brain fixes that. We do think tools raised by everyone, owned by no single interest, should be pointed at problems like it. That's the long game.
- Build up, don't tear down. We don't bash other companies or other approaches. We'd rather show a better way and let the results talk.
- Include everyone, including our animal friends. A better world for people is a better world for the creatures we share it with. The brain's first facts are full of octopuses and otters for a reason.
The ground rules for feeding
- Feed what you made or know firsthand. Your trade, your experience, your own jokes, your own words. This is the best food there is.
- Public knowledge is welcome when you write it in your own words: history, open science, well-known facts, how things work.
- Never paste someone else's work. Not a scholar's paper, a news article, a song, a book, a website. If they didn't give it, we don't take it. If you are the scholar, welcome! Feed your own work with pride.
- Keep it clean and kind. Kids talk to this brain. No cursing, no adult content, no meanness.
- No personal information. No real names, addresses, phone numbers, emails or links. The filters block them, and so should you.
- Humans check everything before the brain studies it. Anyone can report a meal, and anyone can ask for their own contributions to be removed.
Where this goes
Big AI Brain is the playground and the front door. The consent-based knowledge base it builds, with a record of who gave what and how they know it, is the seed for a bigger, more serious engine we're building next. Same rules, same ownership, bigger brain. Nothing is sold to data brokers. Nothing is scraped. Every piece can be traced back to the person who chose to share it.
If that sounds like something you want to be part of, feed the brain, and come hang out with the community at allofus.one, a global, open network built on the same idea: we are all one.
